By accessing bala-ai.net or using any Bala AI feature, you agree to these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the service.
Bala AI is available only to individuals aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement in their country of residence.
"Service" means the Bala AI website and companion chat features. "Companion" means a fictional AI character offered on Bala AI. "Content" means anything submitted, generated or displayed within the service.
You must provide accurate details when creating an account and keep them current. One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits or restrictions.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Bala AI companions are fictional characters powered by automated text generation. They are not real people, not licensed professionals and not a source of medical, legal or financial advice.
You agree not to use Bala AI for unlawful purposes, harassment of others, distribution of malware, scraping, reverse engineering or any attempt to disrupt the service.
You may not submit or attempt to elicit content involving minors, non-consensual acts, credible threats, terrorism, trafficking or the impersonation of real individuals.
We may review, filter, restrict or remove content that violates these terms, and may suspend accounts while a review is carried out.
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Bala AI a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to operate the service for you.
Companion replies are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, repetitive or unexpected. You use generated content at your own discretion and risk.
The Bala AI name, branding, interface, artwork, companion characters and underlying software are protected and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction, attribution or compensation.
Bala AI offers free access with limits and optional paid plans with expanded features. Plan contents may change with reasonable notice.
Paid plans bill in advance for the chosen period and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date shown in your account.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and access continues to the end of the paid period already covered.
Except where consumer law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. Duplicate or erroneous charges are corrected on request.
We may adjust pricing for future billing periods. Existing subscribers are notified before a change takes effect and may cancel before it applies.
Payments, hosting and email delivery rely on third parties. Their terms apply to their portion of the transaction, and we are not liable for their independent failures.
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, upgrades, outages and factors outside our control may interrupt access.
Features may be added, altered or withdrawn as Bala AI develops. We try to give notice of significant reductions in functionality.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create legal risk or harm other users, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
You may close your account at any time. Closure ends your licence to use the service and triggers deletion of associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Bala AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the extent the law allows, Bala AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to Bala AI in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify Bala AI against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
Bala AI is entertainment and companionship, not crisis support. If you are in distress, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.
Your use of Bala AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it is handled.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer law provides otherwise.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a corporate transaction.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version is published on this page and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
